Cave Rock is on the east side of Lake Tahoe. The lake is bisected north-to-south by the California-Nevada state line. The rock hangs over the water and in the 1800s a catwalk was constructed on it's cliff face, prior to the present day highway tunnel. This panorama was shot about a mile north of Cave Rock.
