Promulgation Hall in the Seitenstetten Abbey
Lower Austria

The Promulgation Hall, in the centre of the west wing on the first floor, is reached from the entrance hall by the abbot's staircase.

This hall, built in 1747, completed in the Classicist style 1814, is used for concerts and school events.

The bridge connecting the corridors on the second stores was drawn across in 1870 in regard to the extension of the boarding school.

Images were painted by Karl Aigen; Jesus and the adulteress; Jesus and the Samaritan woman at the Fountain of Jacob. Two portraits of bishops from Passau are painted by J. M. Schmidt.
