Angel Arch, Arch Canyon, Utah, USA
Utah

Angel Arch in Arch Canyon, San Juan County, Utah, USA.  Angel Arch is 9.2 trail-miles upstream from the mouth of Arch Canyon.  The trail is an old road the first 8.4 miles that is only passable by walking, horses, ATVs and motorcycles.  The last 3/4 miles is single-track not open to motor vehicles.  The hike is easy as is the horse ride.  The trail is rough enough that some skill is required for ATVs and motorcycles.  The trail crosses the creek 50 some-odd times so in rainy seasons the trail can be impassable to motor vehicles and hikers should plan on fording the creek a number of times.  Avoid the area when large storms are to the north... the canyon is very prone to frequent flash floods.
