Gigapixel view from the summit of A B (Arctic Brotherhood) Mountain outside of Skagway, Alaska. The trail climbs steeply up thick brush & devil's club before arriving a picturesque barren ridgeline. The ends at a certain point & one has to make their own route to this summit, which is unranked as the nearby summits are clearly much higher. Views of the Denver Glacier to the south amidst dramatic u-shape valleys. A glimpse of the Taiya Inlet is also in view. Up here at 5,000 feet, there are numerous large erratics sitting atop the rounded ridgeline showing how thick the ice was through here during the Ice Age. Nootka lupines are also found growing natively in the environment. Look southwest to see a sliver of Mt. Fairweather (elev. 15,300'), the highest point of British Columbia, Canada.
