A charming and picturesque mountain?
This panorama was taken while en route to the base of the prominence.
The summit of "Dent de Morcles" can be seen from here, it's the middle peak on that 3 peak collection, to the left of the uphill path.
Starting at Javerne, after a 1.3km uphill walk you get here.
Clockwise, to the right of the hill, on the other side of the Rhone Valley, lie the "Dents du Midi", then "Bex" and "Monthey" under the clouds, and at the very end of the valley, to the left of the yellow sign, a glimpse of Lake Geneva.
