The O2 Yanchengpu Station entrance was formerly the Guangfu Theater. Yancheng District used to be the origin of the Kaohsiung entertainment industry, with theaters, such as the Jincheng, International, Dawutai, Asia, and Shouxing close by. Presently, the newly redeveloped O2 Yanchengpu Station pedestrian mall is the enter of popular music, shaping this place into the launching base of the music industry, becoming the cultural hotspot that fans will come to pay homage in the future.

During the weekends, movie, music and cultural events are occasionally held here. Not only are there singers and actors who come to give out autographs, but there are also new song releases taking place here. There are also fun events that involve both eating and playing.
