The Roses Park in Timisoara during August 26 to 29 - 2010 hosted the sixth edition of the Festival of Opera and Operetta, outdoors. This year's festival offered public performances Timisoara, loved by genre fans. Previous editions had great success among Timisoara public, access to the event was free. Sustained performances of the orchestra, chorus and ballet ensemble of the Romanian National Opera of Timisoara were held each evening at Rose Park Summer Theater. The first day of the event on Thursday, was scheduled to "Carmen" opera in four acts by Georges Bizet. Friday, Rose Park resonated "Merry Widow" and Saturday was staged ballet show "Viennese Blood" with the participation of St. Ballet Ensemble. Polten, Austria. Sunday at 12 noon, children could watch children's opera "Puss in Boots" and the evening at 20.30 and Operetta Opera Festival closed with "My Fair Lady" after the song "Pygmalion" by George Bernard Shaw.
