Station Goppenstein is the southern entrance of the old 14.6 km long Lötschberg tunnel going from Kandersteg to Goppenstein or from the Berner Oberland to the Valais.

Here a regional Lötschberger train coming from Berne going to Brig stopped in Goppenstein. 

I am waiting for the same train going to Berne.
