The Sawyers Bar Catholic Church (also known as St. Joseph's Catholic Church) is located in the hamlet of Sawyers Bar, California.  Sawyers Bar was founded as a California gold rush town in 1850 & five years later this church was built.  A cemetery is also included & today is now listed on the national register of historic places.
