Saas Almagell is the most southern village in the Saastal Valley, in the Valais in Switzerland, situated at 1672 m above sea level. There is a huge variety of cycle paths and walking paths, with the most varied trails. The Suonen trail to Saas-Grund, the adventure trail from Furggstalden to Almagelleralp, the trail around Mattmarksee, easier and flat, others more difficult and complicated such as Monte Moro pass or Antrona pass, which you can go to Italy. If you follow the Roman slabs to Monte Moro Pass, you will find here an impressive Golden statue of Mary, also known as Madonna delle Nieve, at 2853m and a stunning landscape of the majestic east face of Monte Rosa and Mattmarksee on the Swiss side, a mountain restaurant G. Oberto, a cable car that can take you to Macugnaga on the Italian side. These paths, Antrona pass and Monte Moro pass, were widely used by the ancient Romans. Saas-Almagell is approximately a 50-minute walk from Saas Fee via the Vogelwaldweg path, which is popular with visitors to the region during spring and summer.

Se seguir as lajes romanas até Monte Moro Pass, encontra aqui uma impressionante estátua Dourada de Maria, também conhecida por Madonna delle Nieve, a 2853m e uma paisagem deslumbrante da majestosa face leste do Monte Rosa e de Mattmarksee do lado suíço, um restaurante de Montanha G. Oberto, um teleférico que o pode levar até Macugnaga no lado italiano. Estes caminhos, Antrona pass e Monte Moro pass foram muito utilizados pelos antigos romanos. Saas-Almagell fica a cerca de 50 minutos, a pé, de Saas Fee através do caminho Vogelwaldweg, que durante a Primavera e o Verão, é muito solicitado pelos visitantes da região.
