Rose Garden Circle Mottisfont Abbey Hampshire England

Mottisfont Abbey was orignally built as a Priory in 1201 by William Briwere who was a trusted advisor and friend of Richard the Lionheart, King John and Henry III.  It was converted to a House by William Lord Sandy in the 15th C.  The Rose gardens contain the National collection of 350 shrub roses.
