Photographers at Toroweap Overlook, Grand Canyon National Park, AZ
Arizona

Photographers gather to catch light of the golden hour at sunset. Toroweap is a Paiute term meaning "dry or barren valley". At 3,000 feet above the Colorado River, Toroweep Overlook offers a dramatic view. This area is reached by a 4-wheeled drive vehicles only via a three hour drive. This area is not for the average traveler and is one of the most remote areas in the United States. If you break down, two cost are about $2,000 to tow you out and there is no cell service here.
