The Aragon Pavilion is one of the main buildings of the Expo 2008 which takes place in Zaragoza from 14 June to 14 September 2008. The design and construction of the building has fallen on the Aragonese Daniel Olano Olano and Mendo cabinet Architects. 1
The pavilion is in the shape of a wicker basket suspended by three pillars leaving less space freed up was used as place during the course of the event. The facade is composed of layers of micro-glass and concrete that give it a unique appearance and give lots of light inside. The lighting is also guaranteed for six skylights above. The plant has measures 50x50 with small differences per plant under its external form. The pavilion has 3,000 square meters of exhibition space as well as smaller rooms, administrative offices, a cafeteria and a large terrace from which you can contemplate Zaragoza and Expo.
During the international event Hall explained the evolution that has taken the historical relationship of water with Aragon. The contrasts of a desert territory or green, modernized music and traditional dance were reflected in the exhibition. Upon completion of the Expo, is expected to be conditioned pavilion to host a Ministry of the Government of Aragon . Currently nothing is known more about the future of the building.
