On the way down from Hornisgrinde

Inversion weather is quite common in winter in the black forest. Heavy fog in the Rhine valley, mist around the foot of the mountains and warm sunny wheather in the higher regions, here on the slopes of the Hornisgrinde, the highest mountain in northern black forest. Unusual though that it didn't snow until end of december.
