This is one of about 700 fountains spread all over the city of Munich. It is a listed monument and was created by German sculptor Josef Wackerle.
Police gathers in front of Munich's Palace of Justice, some of them in full riot gear as if expecting militant protesters. It's a really hot day and several people await the demonstration against the 41st G7 summit that will start around the corner at Karlsplatz (also known as Stachus) while relaxing at the nearby Neptune's fountain inside the old botanical garden.
