Lecocq Park

Lecocq Park was created by Don Francisco Lecocq (1790 -1882), based on a design by the architect Mario Paysée. It has an area of 120 hectares, where different types of animals live in simulated natural habitat. The park has 33 species of animals in captivity. One of them is the Papio hamadryas, or baboons found in a cage that simulates their natural habitat.
