This cabin would typically have housed two men, the rangers responsible for the Kaibab Forest Reserve on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. The bedroom has doors both to the kitchen and the front porch. The long skis remind us that the Kaibab has heavy snowfall and even today the road south of here closes in winter.
