Jagsthausen is a community with about 1800 inhabitants in the Franconian Northeast of Baden-Württemberg. In the center near Goetzenburg castle stands the gothic-style Protestant church of St. James with an octagonal tower. It was first mentioned in the late 15th century. For the reconstruction after the Thirty Years' War donated the Swedish Queen Christina, the Swedish Chancellor Axel Oxenstierna and the Swedish commander Gustaf Horn.
