The Dock of the Tinto was declared a Cultural Interest in 2003. Built by the company "Rio Tinto Company Limited", it served to carry the ore from the Rio Tinto mines to the Odiel river. Currently in disuse it was restored and became one of the signs of the city of Huelva.
