The interiors of the Moonhole houses built by Tom Johnston are individual and unusual. Local craftsmen working with materials that came to hand created unconventional spaces and layouts, often without windows or doorways. Trees were never cut down and the buildings seem to have grown organically from their surroundings. The Moonhole peninsula is now a private nature reserve, although some of the house are available as holiday rentals. Please see the other panoramas for more information
