After climbing the overlook hill on the Boquillas Canyon Trail and descneding the other side of it, the rest of the Boquillas Canyon Trail follows along the Texas bank of the Rio Grande. Some of the trail wanders through tall river grass but here I have walked a few yards off the trail down to a nice beach with a view back upriver to the entrance cliffs of the canyon. Of course, rotating the panorama 180 degrees shows the cliffs downstream.
