Kashid is a small beach town 100 miles south of Mumbai. Famous for its sandy beach and blue unpoluted sea, it is a favourite destination for beach seakers who do not wish to travel as far as Goa. There are a number of shacks by the beach that have hammocks so that you can rest in the shade and sip coconut water when the afternoon sun gets too hot to bask in.
