View from the middle summit of Pt. 8,234 (elev. 8,234') in the Trinity Alps Wilderness northwest of Weaverville, California.  The peak is an obscure objective w/ easy access from directly above the Boulder Lakes.  From here one can see Mt. Hilton to the north, the Canyon Creek valley w/ Sawtooth Mountain & Little Granite Mountain across the way, & numerous peaks to the south.  The southwest summit appears to be the highest of these three summits but I decided to skip it due to the thick knife-edged snow cornice.
