Teufelsküche — The Devil´s Kitchen, Valley of the Alb, Hotzenwald, Black Forest, Germany – View 1
Baden-Wuerttemberg

The "Hotzenwald" is the southernmost part of the Black Forest and is supposed to be the remotest and darkest part of it. There are many places full of ancient myths and fairytales. Such a place is "Teufelsküche" — the Devils´s Kitchen. This place is an approximately 100m-long gorge in the valley of the stream "Alb" which runs crammed between granite boulders. There are several swirl holes in the bed of the stream.
