Tueckelhausen is a suburb of Ochsenfurt in Bavaria. Here, unknown nobles founded in the years around 1139 a Premonstratensian monastery. 1351 Tückelhausen was given to the Carthusians. The life of the monks was marked by silent work and daily prayers. In the course of secularization, the Charterhouse was repealed in 1803. The monastery church became a parish church. The largest part of the property has been used privately ever since.
