Paper has been produced in Homburg am Main since 1807. Visitors to the paper mill can experience the ancient art up close and make paper themselves. The striking building with its extraordinary pagoda-shaped hipped roof is known far beyond the region. It is located above the town center of Homburg, on the Bischbach, which drives the mill wheel. The waterwheel is in operation all year round and generates electricity for houses and machines in an ecological way.
