Following the hiking trail up the Rucu Pichincha volcano in Ecuador. As we get closer to the top in this early afternoon, the large rocks are just silhouettes caught in the mist and the clouds, making the place very intimidating and fascinating. The high altitude makes it very hard to trek, but it is a unique experience to be high in the Andes mountains.
