The church was erected between 1782-1789, between 1849-1852 a tower was built on, in 1881 the church was rebuilt into neo-gothic style according to Henry von Ferstela's plans, who also designed votive church in Vienna. Between 1895-1896 it was rebuilt and the tower was raised from 58 to 68 meters. There is inner decoration and neo-gothic ecclesiastical equipment from the 4th quarter the 19th century. There is also organ dated back to 1881.
