A common mid-winter phenomenon, an inversion traps fog and smog within the valleys of Utah. Here above the Bonneville Shoreline Trail along the ridge to Perkins Peak between Emigration and Parley's Canyons, we are just level with the upper layers.

Last year, the inversion was quite a bit thicker as seen in my previous 360.
