Baccu Locci lake near former mine flotation plant
Sardinia

The Baccu Locci river incises Paleozoic schist with lead-arsenic sulfide ore that has been mined for centuries. The bottom of one of its tributary valleys shows a lake that is situated near the former mine ore processing plant.
