Alzenau-Michelbach - Michelbach Castle
Franconie

Michelbach is a district of Alzenau in the Lower Franconian district of Aschaffenburg. Michelbach has its name from the eponymous creek, which flows through the town. Here stands Michelbach Castle, a two-storey Baroque building, which emerged from a moated castle of the 16th century. From the original plant only a wall core is obtained. At the beginning of the 21st century, the castle was renovated and houses the Museum of the City of Alzenau.
