Zion Canyon Overlook Zion National Park
Zion National Park

The view here is a wet, fresh snow, melting in the bright midday desert sun, running down the steep red rock walls of Zion Canyon. Above the crisp blue Utah sky is only interrupted by the presence of wispy clouds that hang on to only the highest of the head walls. Hundreds of feet below, crossing the canyon floor, a serpentine shaped red road, RT9, Zion Park Boulevard, winds it's way out of the Zion-Mt. Carmel Tunnel. The road is red in color throughout the park.
