Twin Knolls, Nebo Loop Scenic Byway, Utah, USA
Utah

Stop along the Nebo Loop Scenic Byway for a quick but steep hike up the Twin Knolls to a grand panoramic view. At almost 9700 feet elevation, on a clear day you can take in the southern Wasatch from Lone Peak south to Timpanogos, Cascade, and Provo Peaks, to Loafer, Dry and Bald Mountain and finally to Nebo itself. The San Pitch mountains stretch to the south. To the east, across the Sanpete valley, the Wasatch Plateau runs north to south in a long line and hosts another great scenic byway, the Skyline Drive.
