Lago Chapo is a glacial lake that is located in the Los Lagos Region, near Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas. It is surrounded by the Llanquihue National Reserve and the Alerce Andino Park, and has an area of 52 km2. Its waters are turquoise green and have a temperature between 9° C and 18° C depending on the season.
