Porto Petro is a picturesque fishing village within the municipality of Santanyi , just south from calador. There are not more then 500 hundred people living, Port petro was never develloped as a mayor tourist resort due to the lack of beaches nearby.
Unlike other nearby resorts like Calador Porto Petro is unaffected by seasonal tourism trends and you'll find the bars and restaurants will be open all year round.
There is a road train that links Porto Petro with Calador and Cala Mondragó and runs throughout the day in the summer months.
There is only one hotel in Porto Petro, the 5* Blau Porto Petro Resort Hotel.
