Grandeur Point is one of those little known secrets of Grand Canyon National Park. It offers one of the best views of the inner canyon that can be found in the village area and an especially fantastic view of the switchbacks on the upper and middle portions of the Bright Angel Trail. Because you must walk at least a half mile to reach it, it is seldom very crowded.(Grand Canyon Explorer)
