This is a great spot, just 10 minutes walk from my house. It is a fjord, so it is salt, however, the entrance to the fjord is quite narrow. So I guess it is somewhat diluted. The ice has been around for a couple of weeks now. It is quite unusual for it to freeze these days. I remember when I was a kid, we walked on it, but that is unheard of now.
