Hamamyagi Thermal Springs

Hamamyagi (Hallaz, Hirlaz, Hilyas) thermal springs and its surrounding areas are the most popular touristic spots in the area, providing a valuable source of income for the locals. The spa is placed 10km away from Ladik centre and boasts a picnic area near a small river and a spa building. The thermal in Ladik and Havza were renowned in historical times as well as today. In the Roman era and preceding periods, the area served as a health centre, as its waters are now proven to help with rheumatic illnesses, muscle and nervous system exhaustion, calcification of joints and low-energy following surgery. The outdoors is also ideal for relaxing, as Ladik Lake is nearby and there are plenty of high meadows on nearby Mount Akdag.
