View of Snowdon, Garnedd Ugain and the lakes (Glaslyn and Llyn Llydaw)

Another beautiful May day and it was time to go up the south side in the Snowdon horseshoe and scamble up Cribau. From there you have a good view at Snowdon, Garnedd Ugain, Crib coch and the lakes below (Glaslyn and Llyn Llydaw). You can also see the most famous pathways up Snowdon; the miners track at the bottom, the Pyg track halfway up and via Crib coch and Garnedd Ugain. Just a shame that it is quite difficult to park at Pen-y-pass (and expensive if you manage to beat the crouwds to it). This is one of the best hiking, scramble areas in north Wales and the views are just something!!
