Lake Te Anau

Lake Te Anau, original Maori name Te Ana-au meaning The cave of swirling water. Situated in the southwestern corner of the South Island. Most of the lake lies within Fiordland National Park and the Te Wahipounamu World Heritage site. Other than the Te Anau township.
