Playa de Salinas Long Board Festival

The beach of Salt mines is probably the most concurred of the council. It is placed in Villa de Salinas, one of the wished zones more of all the Asturian territory. At the beginning of century a station was considered bath. The spa that already years ago had stopped working, was demolished in the year 2000 for the reforms of the marine stroll, one of his more tourist propose outstanding. One extends from the museum of the Anchors arriving to the beach of San Juan, which is contiguous with Ría de Avilés. Its extension is of 2,100 meters in length and one average width of 100 meters with low tide. With high tide its approximate width is of about 10 meters, arriving in some from its points to touch with the wall of the stroll. The sand is fine and sea bream. It has diverse positions of rendering first aid, showers and clothes.
