LBNM: Petroglyph Point [2]

Petroglyph Point is a section of Lava Beds National Monument near Tulelake, California.  Petroglyphs dating back thousands of years are found along the base of Prisoners Rock.  The former lake levels of Tule Lake are also visible along the base of the basalt cliff, to which the Modoc Indians would arrive by boat & carve into the cliffs.
