Lisburn Market Square - John Nicholson Statue beside the Irish Linen Centre & Lisburn Museum

Situated on the north eastern side of Lisburn's historic Market Square is a statue depicting John Nicholson, a Brigadier General in the British Army and prominent officer of the British East India Company. The white building is Lisburn Museum, which is attached to the Irish Linen Centre, where visitors can trace the history of linen production in Ulster, from the earliest times to the present day.
