The Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts is located within the Neiweipi Cultural Park in Gushan District. It is the third public museum of fine arts in Taiwan, and it was officially opened in June 1994. The Outdoor Sculpture Park displays sculptures from different periods, while inside the museum is a collection of significant local artworks. International art exhibitions are often held here, along with art by local artists and a variety of creative forums. The square and outdoor café outside the Museum provide a natural space for visitors to relax, with a Children's Museum of Arts and Creativity and a "Kids' Artistic Garden". All these facets come together to transform the Museum into a multi-functional leisure park, combining arts, culture, creativity, ecology and education.
