Gigapixel panorama from Jochberg in Pinzgau with view of the Grossglockner Massif, Austria

Gigapixel panorama from Jochberg in Pinzgau with view of the Grossglockner Massif, Austria.

This panorama, which was photographed in the Pinzgau down to Mittersill, shows that even bad weather in the Alps can bring out its good sides. In the Großglockner and Großvenediger massifs, the mountains are enveloped in cloud and fog formations, while the first lights go on in the houses in the valley. During the shooting it began to drizzle a little towards the end; however, the camera and motor head are splash-proof and can actually stand a certain amount of rain quite well.

15.5 gigapixel panorama composed of 768 individual images. Image size: about 170,000 x 85,000 pixels. The panorama shown here is reduced to 2 gigapixel resolution. For the full resolution you can contact me.
