The Ebro river is the second longest in the Iberian Peninsula. It is also the second longest of those that flow into the Mediterranean Sea, after the Nile. It crosses seven Spanish autonomous communities. His passage through Zaragoza, next to the Basilica del Pilar, constitutes one of the most characteristic images of this city and the river.
