Die Heilig-Grabkirche St. Peter und St. Paul ist eine Filialkirche der Deggendorfer Pfarrei Mariä Himmelfahrt, zu der die antijüdische Wallfahrt Deggendorfer Gnad führte, bis sie im März 1992 vom Regensburger Bischof mit einer Bitte um Vergebung aufgelöst wurde. Bei der „Gnad“ handelte es sich um eine alljährlich stattfindende sogenannte Hostienwallfahrt, die auf einer mittelalterlich-judenfeindlichen Hostienfrevel-Legende bzw. Judenmord beruht.
