Located at the end of a mostly easy hike from trailhead parking (0.75 miles with a pair of moderately steep switchbacks near the end), Cecret Lake is a popular destination in late summer for those wishing to escape the heat in the Salt Lake valley. After hiking through fields of wildflowers (over 120 species), the hiker can cool their feet in the cold lake and marvel at the surrounding peaks.
