The Air Forces Memorial in Runnymede, Surrey, is to honour over 20,000 airmen and airwomen who lost thier lives during World War II and have no known grave. Each of the names is engraved into the stone walls of the memorial. The view from the memorial looks over the River Thames and Runnmede Meadow where the Magna Carta was sealed in 1215.
