One of Netherlands's best dragon boat team resides in Zoetermeer's Noord-AA. The team formed back in February of 1990 used to trained in waters of Sloterplas in Amsterdam and Breukelen (Yes that's the original Brooklyn). But when Noord-Aa man-made lake project was completed in 1994, The Dutch Dragons saw the venue as a nestling opportunity thus made it 'home' with a perfect training waterhole to boot. In 1997 they relocated. The Dutchies' Clubhouse was recently opened in 2012 welcoming lots of future opportunities for the medal winning team.
